New Release - Sept 27 2014
Hello Lovelies!
Some exciting news in the time I have been absent!
As of today, I am now going to be including appliers for #TheMeshProject! So all of you who love the body (I'm a personal fan of it myself) will be able to wear all of my future releases. Eventually, I will go back and re-release the appliers for the older items in my store, but until then, please keep in mind only NEW items will include this applier.
As a celebration for these new appliers, I have released a new pair of jeans.
These jeans have both a classic variety and a grunge punk-like print. Below are a few examples!
You can find more styles and colors both in world and on the marketplace!

A whole slew of releases!
Hello Lovelies!
Many apologies for being dormant on my blog lately :( I got really busy working on new items to release! This week I have not one, not even two, but FOUR new items for you to take a peek at!
I've also been hard at work renovating my store and upgrading my vendor system to include buyers rewards! Any purchase made in-store or on the marketplace will give you 2% back as store credit! If you join our Update Group in-world and make a purchase wearing the tag you will get 5%! I am also working on setting up the redelivery terminal, gift cards and much more! I hope you guys are as excited as I am :)
Now, on to the most exciting news! The releases!
I have been hard at work making new mesh items that include color/texture changing HUDs! Because I know for a fact my inventory is getting out of control, and it's so much nicer to have a HUD replace 30+ items in a folder :)
So up first we have my personal favorite, the Fash!on dress and leggings!
Fash!on Dress - Fatpack ad board |
Up next is another favorite of mine, the Jenny Tank-top / microdress!

Another awesome item coming at you guys! I'll combine these two to save space on this page :) We have the Sassy jeans & Angel T-Shirts. Both of these items are re-release items that I made a couple years ago. I have re-released them with all compatible appliers so you can wear both of these with any mesh body part you may have locked away in your inventory! Mind you the ad board only shows one of the 8 versions available! Be sure to check out the marketplace or in-world to see the others!
Last, but certainly not least, I have a new pair of heels! The Velvet Lace heels are 100% non-rigged mesh. This means that you can resize them to fit! These heels do not require any special mesh feet, and they work best with the standard SL feet. Now I have been approved by slink, so be prepared to see a lot of gorgeous shoes your way!
That's all I have for now! Stay tuned for more awesome releases coming your way :)
xoxo

Fish Hunt - earn $L for fishing!
Now I know this title is very much....well...it sounds like an advertisement. Well, this is not an ad, but a review of the system!
Fish Hunt is something I discovered by perving a friend's profile then asking him about it. He explained that I can earn $L for free. I'd like to start off by saying I may not have *ALL* of the facts straight about this game as there is very limited information available through the website, and most of what I have learned has been through asking a LOT of questions to other fishers.
So I decided to give it a go, and picked up my free rod and land finding hud and set off into the world of fishing for $L. Unfortunately I did not snap any photos of my first few days of fishing, but I will share some of the ones I took while I write this.
This is a fish hunt buoy |
A land owner can buy a fish hunt buoy from the marketplace or in world. They then rez the buoy on their land, pay into the pot and their land gets listed on a public website where fish hunters pull up SLURLS to the land and fish up the $L. It's essentially a glorified form of camping.
Now there's a strange business model to this fish hunt game. The creator offers a free buoy to land owners, but charges an 80% tax of everything paid into the buoy. So if you put in 100L, only 20L goes into the pot to be fished up. However, land owners can choose to purchase a buoy that has a lower tax cut out of the pot. If you want to pay the least amount of taxes (surprisingly still 10%) you must first fork over L$29,990. I wish I were joking. Not only does a land owner have to pay 30k, they then also still lose 10% of all of their pots to the creator. However, there are several different options land owners can pick from, but the cheaper the buoy the higher tax percentage the creator takes from your pot. So from a land owner's perspective, this is a VERY expensive traffic generating game, but it is also extremely effective if you can afford it.
I personally chose to throw a free one on my land, as I do not expect to fill it very often I figured that the 80% wasn't too tough to deal with. Plus, I wanted to invest in this game as a form of making $L, not spending them.
So with my free rod in hand, I stormed the beaches of all the different Fish Hunt lands. Unfortunately I had made the mistake of fishing for bitcoins for about 3 hours, so my first experience with the $L income was a bit muddled. I have asked a friend of mine to conduct an experiment where he would not invest a single dime into the game past what is needed to play it. (No purchased rods, pets or anything fancy past the standard bait).
That reminds me! I totally forgot to mention that to fish for $L, you have to also PAY for your bait! With your free rod, you are given 50 free basic worms. As long as you have worms on your rod, your cast times are about a minute long. However if you run out of rods, your cast time goes up to 5-8 minutes. So you *can* play without paying anything, but after your 50 worms run out it does not become an effective use of your time. The average price of the cheapest bait is around L$0.2 - L$0.23. So to make your bait worthwhile, you have to catch items that are worth more than L$0.23 per cast. Unfortunately when you are starting off this is not very common. But to offset the cost, there is a lottery system where you can randomly win 3 basic worms. I had my friend test how much $L he could make before having to buy worms, and he made it to L$25. It also appears that the higher experience points you have, the higher chance of catching something netting a significant profit from your bait. So my conclusion came to that this is a rather expensive hobby to start, but will slowly start to return your investment.
Now there is also other parts of the game where you can craft items to sell to other players for a small profit. I have not personally experienced this bit yet, so I can't really weigh in on it, but it seems that it has potential if you have a lot of $L to invest. If you don't have much $L but you have a lot of time, a basic rod and buying your bait may be the way to go.
I personally made the decision to purchase the PRO Rod (valued at L$990) and the Shubbie Breedable Pet (valued at L$2250). The pro rod is without a doubt the best value for the price for a beginner Fish Hunt player. It increases your experience gain by 1 point per cast, totaling your experience gain per cast to +2.
The Shubbie pet took a lot more thought and consideration before purchasing it. There are 3 different versions of the Shubbie: Blue, Green and Red. "Blue gives 1 xp per cast, Green gives you 3 xp per cast and Red gives you 5 xp per cast. Each also makes your cast time shorter. Blue PET: 5 % faster cast, Green PET: 10 % faster cast, Red PET: 15 % faster cast" (taken from Cristalyn's Post on Shubbies.) In addition to giving you a pretty nice fishing bonus for a hefty fee, you must also FEED your shubbie. It will eat 1 spoon of food each cast. Fortunately I have been able to find 1,000 spoons for L$48. This nets to L$0.048 per cast, which is easily paid for in each cast. However it will take quite a bit of time to pay off the shubbie's purchase price. But from what I have heard (I have not experienced this yet) your shubbie will gain enough experience to split into another shubbie, which you can sell to another player, thus helping you re-gain your investment over time. During those splits you also have a chance to upgrade on the color, but these chances are very slim!
I am still working on seeing if my investments will make me enough $L back, and i am keeping track of every single transaction regarding this game, both earnings and purchases. So Far I am still 3,000 in the red, but I've only just started! I will report again later if I get closer to being profitable! If I do end up profiting at a relatively quick pace, I will eventually upgrade to the $14,000 Shark Rod. All my friends have it and they LOVE it, but since I'm still new I don't want to invest that much money this early on.
Now that I'm done talking about the $L aspect of it, lets talk about the social aspect.
